At the other end of the spectrum, mail-to-target actions are often perceived as too aggressive. Mass mailing can overwhelm the mailboxes of the targeted representatives making it difficult for them to make sense of what the CSOs and the citizens supporting them are trying to achieve.

These existing communication tools do not adequately facilitate interaction between the representatives and the public, resulting in missed opportunities for dialogue, feedback, and trust-building. MEPs specifically lose out on the opportunity to have a clear overview of the issues their constituents care about, engaging in direct communications with them and growing a list of their supporters.
